【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtoproducefastenerpull-throughresistancedataforstructuraldesignallowables,researchanddevelopment.Theproceduresmaybeusedtoassesspull-throughresistanceforavarietyofcompositelaminatethicknesses,fastenerdiameters,andfastenerheadstyles.However,theflexibilityoftestparametersallowedbythevariantsmakesmeaningfulcomparisonbetweendatasetsdifficultifthedatasetswerenotgeneratedusingidenticaltestparameters.Earlycompositepull-throughtestsusingfastenerscommontometalstructuresledtoprematurejointfailures,andresultedinthedevelopmentoffastenersspecificforcompositeapplications.Thesefastenershavelargerheadsandtailstoreducethrough-thicknesscompressionstressesonthecompositelaminate.Generalfactorsthatinfluencethemechanicalresponseofcompositelaminatesandshouldthereforebereportedincludethefollowing:material,methodsofmaterialpreparationandlay-up,specimenstackingsequence,specimenpreparation,specimenconditioning,environmentoftesting,specimenalignment,speedoftesting,timeattemperature,voidcontent,andvolumepercentreinforcement.Specificfactorsthatinfluencethepull-throughresistanceofcompositelaminatesandshouldthereforebereportedincludethefollowing:holediameter,fastenerdiameter,fastenerheaddiameter,loadingbarspacingtofastenerholediameterratio(ProcedureA),clearanceholediametertofastenerholediameterratio(ProcedureB),diametertothicknessratio,fastenertorque,fastenerorpinmaterial,fastenerorpinclearance,countersinkangleanddepthofcountersink,typeofgrommet(ifused),andtypeofsupportfixture.Fastenerpull-throughresistancepropertieswhichmaybedeterminedfromthistestmethodincludeinitialsub-criticalfailureforce/displacement,failureforce,maximumforce,andrupturedisplacement.1.1Thistestmethoddeterminesthefastenerpull-throughresistanceofmultidirectionalpolymermatrixcompositesreinforcedbyhigh-modulusfibers.Fastenerpull-throughresistanceischaracterizedbytheforce-versus-displacementresponseexhibitedwhenamechanicalfastenerispulledthroughacompositeplate,withtheforceappliedperpendiculartotheplaneoftheplate.Thecompositematerialformsarelimitedtocontinuous-fiberordiscontinuous-fiber(tapeorfabric,orboth)reinforcedcompositesforwhichthelaminateissymmetricandbalancedwithrespecttothetestdirection.Therangeofacceptabletestlaminatesandthicknessesisdefinedin8.2.1.2Twotestproceduresandconfigurationsareprovided.Thefirst,ProcedureA,issuitableforscreeningandfastenerdevelopmentpurposes.Thesecond,ProcedureB,isconfiguration-dependentandissuitableforestablishingdesignvalues.Bothprocedurescanbeusedtoperformcomparativeevaluationsofcandidatefasteners/fastenersystemdesigns.1.3Thespecimensdescribedhereinmaynotberepresentativeofactualjointswhichmaycontainoneormorefreeedgesadjacenttothefastener,ormaycontainmultiplefastenersthatcanchangetheactualboundaryconditions.1.4ThistestmethodisconsistentwiththerecommendationsofCMH-17,whichdescribesthedesirableattributesofafastenerpull-throughtestmethod.1.5ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetexttheinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibi......
